Artworks Community Studio | URBAN NATURE

The Onkaparinga Council is a unique area that contains sprawling suburban areas, populated by a variety of people from all different backgrounds and large natural areas filled with different flora and fauna. This exhibition explores this contrast of environments.
Drawing on personal stories and using techniques they have learnt while being a participant at Artworks Community Studio, the artists have created a series of books using mixed media. They explore, through their eyes, the merging of these two worlds and how the urban environment interacts with nature.

Please join us Friday 19 September from 11:00am-1:30pm in the performance space for light refreshments to celebrate the opening of this wonderful exhibition.
